Pickwick Landing State Park offers visitors a full service marina, campgrounds, rental cabins and an inn, picnic tables and a golf course. You will also find boat rentals, pontoon, houseboat and jet ski rentals available for those wishing to spend more time on the water. Pickwick Lake Weather & Climate

Southwestern Tennessee has a mild climate with four distinct seasons. Summers are usually warm and humid, with cooler temperatures in the mountains. Winters tend to be mild and wet. Spring and autumn can be varied and unpredictable with severe weather, like thunderstorms and strong winds. Summers temperatures are not extreme, but the high level of humidity makes it feel hotter than it actually is. Of course, these general patterns are affected by topography: the higher mountain areas tend to have milder summers as well as colder, more blustery winters. Southern Tennessee averages about 5 inches of snow per year. Severe storms are infrequent in the state, being east of the center of tornado activity, south of most blizzard conditions, and too far inland to be affected by hurricanes.
